Enshrinees Voting
The first charter class will
consist of twenty individuals, plus one team. The public will elect
fourteen
of the charter members, and the Advisory Committee will elect six
individuals and the team. After the first charter class has been elected and enshrined,
each year ten individuals and one team will be elected. The public will
elect seven enshrinees and the Advisory Committee will elect three enshrinees and the team.
The President of the Wichita Sports Hall of Fame can select one Wichita
sports organization for enshrinement if he or she so chooses. |

Veteran Inductees
The Advisory Committee is responsible for ensuring all Wichita sports figures from the
turn of the century to the 1960s and all sports figures who were behind
the scenes, in ownership, management, coaching, or another facet of
sports, have a means to be elected to the Wichita Sports Hall of Fame.
Also, the Advisory Committee is responsible for all voting and nominations
being done in a fair and respectable manner. The President of the Wichita
Sports Hall of Fame shall
be responsible for breaking any ties in the nomination or voting process. |

Voting Ballots
Voting ballots must be typed or
printed legibly on the voting ballots provided by the Wichita Sports Hall
of Fame and returned to the Hall of Fame. Voting ballots can
be reproduced by computer. Ballots received by
email are allowed.
The Advisory Committee is responsible to oversee that voting is done in a
fair manner. The President of the Wichita Sports Hall of Fame is also
responsible for breaking any ties that may occur in the voting process.
Those receiving the most votes will be enshrined in the Wichita Sports
Hall of Fame. |

Induction Ceremonies
Inductees will be announced
in May of each year, with induction ceremonies held after the election is
complete, in the summer of each year. |
