The Wichita Sports Hall of Fame is dedicated to athletes, coaches, media, contributors and teams who have brought honor to the city of Wichita through sports.

Our Mission for the Wichita Sports Hall of Fame Museum

To preserve and display sports memorabilia important to Wichita, the State of Kansas and all sports nationally.

THERE ARE FOUR GENERAL CATEGORIES FOR ELECTION:

1. Individuals from Wichita that achieved excellence through sports in Wichita.

2. Individuals from Wichita that achieved excellence through sports outside of Wichita.

3. Individuals from outside Wichita that achieved excellence through sports in Wichita.

4. Teams from Wichita that achieved athletic excellence.

WICHITA SPORTS HALL OF FAME CONTRIBUTOR INDUCTEES

The Wichita Sports Hall of Fame also honors individuals who may not have been athletes, coaches or administrators, but who made a great contribution to sports in a very special way in Wichita and or the Wichita Sports Hall of Fame. These individuals have earned and been awarded induction into the Wichita Sports Hall of Fame as a Contributor Inductee.
